  May 22 - Farm Sanctuary's black-tie Gala for Farm Animals. Join Honoree Mary Tyler Moore and hosts Grant Alexander, Linda Blair, Sue Coe, and Peter Max at the beautiful Plaza Hotel in New York City. June 5, 2004 and June 6, 2004 - Animal Wellness Magazine presents the World's Largest Animal Adoption Event as part of the Animal Wellness Expo, Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA. Over 100 adoption agencies and rescue groups are invited to work together to reach a goal, and that goal is to adopt 1000 animals over the two day event, attracting people from coast to coast. Attendance & Participation is Free for all non-profit registered shelter agencies and rescue organizations wishing to bring animals in for adoption. A full line up of Educational Seminars are planned, a Wellness Health Pavilion offering free health advice and hands on service to all attendees animals, celebrities, contests, fun events for the whole family and a selection of the world's highest quality animal product companies and services. Saturday, February 19, 2005. Charlotte Laws will host a fundraiser to raise money for the dogs and cats of Oakland, California (Oakland Animal Shelter). To find out about this event, please contact our office at (818) 781-5280. It will take place in the East Bay.

Homeless Pets Memorialized Through Art Exhibit - "Art that Speaks for Homeless Pets." February 25th - March 18th, 2005 in Los Angeles, CA. Artist Cyrus Mejia created the "575 Project" to memorialize the 575 dogs and cats killed each hour in shelters and pounds. The exhibition will be held at Two California Plaza (Lobby Level East) at 350 S. Grand Avenue in Los Angeles. The exhibit will be on display from February 25 through March 18, 2005 during normal business hours. Underground parking is available in the building.

Fundraiser tentatively scheduled for June 2005 in Oakland, California for the animals at the Oakland Animal Shelter. Information to be announced later.
