Adele Langdon began her career and training at the early age of 4, ice skating professionally for Disneyland on Ice and the Ices Follies, later becoming an Olympic contender. Adele remembers getting up for practice every morning before school and then returning to the ice rink in the afternoon to perfect her moves and compete. Little did she know that this discipline and determination would carry over into everything she would do. Her commitment and loyalty to do the best job, is the only way she knows how to do it.
Adele Langdon became a model and actress in her late teens, and later became a hostess for a season on CBS’s “The Price Is Right”. Hobnobbing among Hollywood’s elite, she began contributing her time to charitable organizations including SHARE, Inc. SHARE, Inc. is an organization of 100 women in the entertainment industry who raise funds to assist a variety of nonprofit organizations. When it began 35 years ago, SHARE raised money for programs serving mentally handicapped children. Adele continued her charitable efforts volunteering for the Veterans women’s’ programs against drug abuse and domestic violence.
From the time Adele was a little girl, she has always had a love for animals. While having several of her own, including dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and turtles, she has taken in strays not wanting them to be killed in a shelter. She has worked with adoption centers, foster care, and helped to place animals in loving homes whose owners were in rehabilitation. When Adele became aware of the DAW PROGRAM and their goal for NO KILL ANIMAL SHELTERS she wanted to become involved. “There is nothing I wouldn’t do to try to help the animals”. They are all God’s creatures and should be respected.” I would like to be a voice for them, as well as an educator for their care and treatment.
Adele currently works as a REALTOR at Keller Williams in Beverly Hills. A portion of her commissions will be donated to help fund animal programs where they are most needed.
